Yi Gak punches Tae Moo and he tries to fight back, but, Yi Gak kicks his ass!!! He calls Tae Moo a murderer and liar, framing him as the killer of Grandmother. Which...in a way is true. He's an accomplice, but Se Na is true murderer. Wow. Se Na and Tae Moo, the killer couple. Seriously. They do belong with each other.
Yi Gak goes to visit Tae Yong in the hospital and tells him sorry for not protecting his grandmother. He begs for forgiveness and now Grandmother's death gives him more motivation to set things right.
As Park Ha and Yi Gak meet up to talk about her mother, he begins to fade away again and this time he notices it. He tries to hug Park Ha to comfort her, but he finds that he can't! Uh oh!!!
He returns back and freaks out. Park Ha can tell by his facial expression that something is wrong, but he tells her he's fine. He walks away in frustration and awe, as she catches up to him, he tells her he's fading away. She says she knew that too and he's mad that she didn't tell him this earlier. But then he hugs her. Cute.
The next day, with determination in mind, Yi Gak and everyone else show up to hear about Grandmother's will. Of course, everything goes to Tae Yong. Tae Moo and Uncle are hella pissed that they aren't getting anything. YES!!
As Tae moo is fuming about the contents of the will, he replays what happened between him and Yi Gak. Yi Gak unfortunately said the same thing to him that the imposter said during the bar confrontation. Yi Gak yelled out, "You're a murderer and liar! You're both!" That rings around and Tae Moo back tracks to his office. He pulls out the recording of when he was in the hospital with Yi Gak. He sees Yi Gak hiding the ring on his hand under the bed. Uh oh..........well then. We weren't expecting him to keep that video. Welp.
Tae Moo goes inside Tae Yong's car and puts in a bag full of cash and a plane ticket inside. Interesting...but why isn't the car door locked. WHY ISN'T THE DOOR LOCKED!
What's he up to??
Yi Gak and Park Ha are walking down the street and he sees a tv commercial about how helpful car black boxes are. They help to see what happened during a car accident. So, when Yi Gak had went inside the house to find Grandmother dead, there was a car accident right outside. He remembers this and they ask around car shops to see who has the car with the damage. They go back to the neighborhood and they have to go to Gwangju to find the owner of the car to see if they had a black box and if they saw who went inside Grandmother's house. Just as they are heading back, a police officer shows up to arrest Yi Gak for the impersonation of Tae Yong and murder of Grandmother. WHATTTTTTTTTTTTTT?? HELL NAW!!!!!!
They go in for investigation and the investigaor says they found the company money and a plane ticket in his car, therefore he's a fraud. Ok but how does that provide proof that he's not Tae Yong. Just because there's a lot of cash and a plane ticket doesn't mean he's an impersonator. Hell, I could have a wad of cash and a plane ticket but does that make me a fraud? Heck no!!!!! They bring in Tae Moo(Lawd why???) Of course, Tae Moo denies everything. Instead of being with him the day of the incident, Tae Moo was at the office with Se Na. DIRTHY WENCH!!!!!!!!!!! So, Yi Gak is put in jail. Sucks.
Just plain evil.
Yi Gak ends up there all night and the problem is that if he doesn't get to the will hearing in time, all of the inheritance will go to the bastard Tae Moo. That CANNOT happen....
Park Ha arrives at the jail to talk with Yi Gak. She notices on the mystical handkerchief the abbreviation of Bu Yong, she was the one who made the handkerchiefs, not her sister. Duh. As Yi Gak reaches out for it, he DISAPPEARS COMPLETELY. GONE!!!
So does that mean he can get out of jail???
Yep! He materializes out side and Park Ha make a run for it. Yi Gak rushes to the hearing for it begins at 12 sharp! Everyone is there at the company, waiting for him and he runs with all his might to stop the foolishness from happening. Tae Moo has now been name the inheritor since Tae Yong wasn't present. Uncle is laughing like a hyena in the background and it's hilarious!!! HE SOUNDED HORRIBLE, his evil laugh is AMAZING LOL. Just as Tae Moo is about to stamp the will, Yi Gak busts in saving the day! Yay!! WIG OFFICIALLY SNATCHED! So now, Tae Yong is officially officially the CEO. And then he gives the position over to Pyo-Taek soo!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!
The crew finds the blackbox and they watch the video of what happened. Yi Gak is pissed. Yung-sul kidnaps Tae Moo and he brings him to Yi Gak. Yi Gak asks for him to call Se Na and when he won't, Yung-sul slaps him on the back of the head, BWAHAHAHAHA. YES! Wig snatched again. So they bring in Se Na and Yi Gak forces them to watch the video. It shows Se Na walking out of the house during the time frame of Grandmother's death. Of course she won't admit anything but you can tell on her face that she's starting to freak out. Tae Moo tries to leave but Yung-sul sits him back down. OOOHH, BURN!! HAHA. Yi Gak explains that he wants them to atone for their sins. To leave the company and return the money they framed him with. Ugh. Ok. Do you really think that's gonna happen? Do you really think by letting them go they're gonna abide by your rules? He then adds that if they don't he's gonna dismember them. Uh. I definitely want to see that happen, but still, that isn't a threat. He needs to submit all the dang evidence to the police so they can lock their asses up for good.
Tae Moo and Se Na are allowed to leave and they go to talk about what to do. Of course they're gonna hatch another plan, it just never stops with them. Tae Moo wants to kill him. Well.
The next day, they hatch a plan to bring Tae Yong into the woods by any means necessary. Uh oh...so Se Na goes to Park Ha and apologize. She plays the sympathy card with tears, saying she's gonna kill herself. Blah blah, lame! EVIL! Se Na goes to the bathroom and texts Yi Gak with Park Ha's phone to go to the reservoir to go fishing...at night -_________________-. Really.
As Se Na is leaving, Park Ha catches up to her, saying she can't just leave, they should go eat. All of a sudden, Park Ha's phone starts ringing...WHICH IS IN SE NA'S PURSE LOL. Really. Amateur. But Park Ha doesn't recognize, she just says she has the same ringtone as her and the phone goes unanswered. If Park Ha had answered, it would've been Yi Gak calling from the fishing supply store and she would've found out what Se Na is planning. Welp. Of course. ALWAYS.
The Crew and Yi Gak are at the fishing store and the 3 are planning on going to a baseball game that night. Chi san forgets the tickets so they have to go back home (THAT SCENE WAS HILARIOUS). Meanwhile, Se Na just drops Park Ha off on the street so she goes back home. Park Ha is looking around for her phone and she meets Chi San. He wonders why she's here instead of with Yi Gak fishing. She then realizes that she's been tricked by Se Na. Duh.
Yi Gak is at the reservoir looking around for Park Ha and she won't answer her phone. I really want to know who likes to go fishing at night when they clearly can't see anything. Normally people go at the crack of dawn, but I ain't ever heard of going in the middle of the night. Anyways, Yi Gak is getting worried. He turns around and finds a woman shaped like Park Ha, but clearly it isn't her. She leads him away to where Tae Moo is waiting in the car. Park Ha shows up with a taxi, looking for Yi Gak. Meanwhile, Yi Gak's dumb ass is running after Se Na and then stops. Tae Moo is slowly creeping in his car behind him, Park Ha finds Yi Gak and yells out for him, Yi Gak is paying no attention and since Park Ha senses what's about to happen, her dumb ass runs to push Yi Gak out of the way and stands there so as Tae Moo slams on the pedal, he runs Park Ha over (we presume) instead.
Yi Gak and his dumb self. COULD HE NOT SEE TAE MOO'S BRIGHT ASS HEAD LIGHTS SHINING IN HIS FACE?? No, instead he was looking at Park Ha. Park Ha and her dumb ass couldn't get out of the way once she pushed Yi Gak. If I was going to save someone's life who was blind, I would push them AND MYSELF out of the way. I wouldn't stop and stare at the car. Wtf. At first, Tae Moo wasn't going fast enough, so Yi Gak could've turned, saw that a car was heading straight at him and dodge it. DUH. Then Tae Moo could've drove off into the lake. UGHHHHHHH. I don't think I've seen a Korean drama yet without someone getting ran over, or getting in a car accident, or getting blown the flip up. Never. Everything I've seen involved something tragic. IT'S UNNECESSARY! I mean, how many people die a day from just staring at a car coming straight at them.
Rooftop Prince has gotten out of hand with the plot. We were supposed to figure out the Crown Princess' death and Tae Yong's death, then get the hell back to Joseon. Now all this added stuff is completely unnecessary. Park Ha and Se Na being related, Tae yong getting the company, Grandmother dying, Park Ha getting her ass run over. We have 2 episodes left. How are they gonna wrap this foolishness up in 2 episodes. We still don't know who killed the Crown Princess. We still don't know why Chairman Jang gave up her 2 daughters. Like seriously. What is going on? At first I complained about their not being enough plot development, and there is too much. It's too much!!!!!!!!!!
Next week is I believe the last 2 episodes of Rooftop Prince unless they extended it. It'll be interesting to see how this ends.
I love how you reviewed all the episodes of the rooftop prince. It's funnier and more hilarious.
ReplyDeleteI would rather read what you've written than watching it.
