New Dramas and TV Shows that are AMAZING!!

I am currently watching these 2 amazing Korean Dramas that are completely different from anything I've ever seen(drama wise)! Padam, Padam and What's Up! are so refreshing and different from the typical Korean dramas that I've seen 50 million times. First, Padam Padam is about a man who basically needs a second chance in life so he can prove his innocence. He was framed for killing someone and so when he is finally released from prison after 16 years(GOSH), he faces backlash but he has support from his friends and family. It kinda has it's romantic comedy moments because the main character (Yang Kang Chil) falls in love with this woman(the woman of his destiny lol) so we get to see how that unfolds. It also has a main theme, it's quite religious in a sense and since I'm a Christian, I'll for the story line. It's also funny, it's like a melodrama, rom-com sorta..I can't put it in a specific category except mainly melodrama. What makes this drama different is how it's filmed, it's like watching a movie, IT'S AMAZING, and the story line is rare so I was immediately attracted...plus Kibum, from Boys Over Flowers and he's gorgeous in this drama. BEAUTIFUL. Everyone should watch this drama although I admit, I'm only attracted to the main story line at certain points and it does get kinda slow for me, but I LOVE IT!

Now, my FAVORITE drama right now is What's Up! Oh my goodness, I'm SO glad I gave this drama a chance!! At first, I was skeptical because it wasn't filled with a cast that I knew of except Daesung and I didn't want to watch a drama just because of Daesung. I also wasn't sure about Daesung's acting so I was like, "Nah." Plus I watched like the first 5 minutes, and it had nothing to do with the plot and I got bored, BUT ONE GREAT DAY, I decided to watch it all and I became almost hooked. The first episode was ok, I was kinda confused because the story line says it's supposed to be about a bunch of kids who are trying to make it in the entertainment world, like Glee...Fame...Center Stage. BUT IT'S NOT LIKE THAT. Omg the 2nd episode had me HOOKED. I kinda compare it to Dream High but this drama is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy better. I liked Dream High but the actors are nothing compared to the cast in What's Up! I encourage EVERYONE to watch this drama, it's funny, the chemistry is great, the actors are amazing(Daesung proved me wrong, he's good). I HATE that the production or whatever was forced to edit the drama. Flippin ridiculous, but still, IT'S AN AMAZING DRAMA!!

This last show is something I recently just stumbled upon(not really) and I decided to give it and Hulu a chance. It's Misfits the British tv show. A while ago I wanted to watch it but because it's 18+ and I didn't feel like making an account on Hulu(why do that if I can already watch dramas w/o the hassle) but yesterday I found it on Sidereel and all I had to do was put it my birthdate in order to view the show. First off, it's definitely for Mature audiences lol. Misfits is about these 5 trouble makers with different backgrounds that have to do community service for their "crime" and on the first day, a big storm arrives and all of a sudden they are struck by the lightening and are given super powers. It's not lame, trust me, I thought it would be at first, but the show is hilarious at certain moments and I wanted to see how and what they all do with their powers. Their powers are related to how they act in reality, their punishment sort of. Kelly can read minds, this is because she is insecure, she always wants to know what people think about her. Simon has invisiblity, nobody cares about him in reality so he might as well be invisible and put it to good use. Curtis can turn back time in regretful situations so this is important because he can change the future, it's also a burden. Alisha turns men into a sexual frenzy because she was somewhat of a slut in reality lol, I actually felt reallllly bad for her becuase NO ONE can touch her. Sad really. And Nathan is immortal. We don't find that out until the end of the first season but I spoiled it for myself(AND FOR OTHERS SORRY!!). They basically have to stop certain people using their powers so it has a lot of comic relief. This show isn't perfect, it has flaws but it's good enough for me to watch all 3 seasons in 2 days.
