Rooftop Prince Ep 5 Review

This episode was THE BEST!!! Omg it was soooooooooo good!!!

OK, so it's not really Tae Yong, it's still Lee Gak but since he knows that he has to figure out the reason why Tae Yong is dead in order to get back to the Joseon era, he has to play him. He tells his crew and they believe that Tae Yong is his reincarnation. Ok. But what I don't understand is how everyone can accept this fact. Like, I would be questioning how Tae Yong all of a sudden remembered who he was and what happened during those 2 years and how come Park Ha is his guardian? But whatever. The family is just focused on retaining his memories. Of course Tae Moo the cousin is freaking out! I would be too lol. He can't really believe that Tae Yong is alive, he still thinks Lee Gak is a fake even though that isn't possible, I mean c'mon! So he tries to make Lee Gak take a DNA test but all of a sudden, his phone falls out of his pocket! *GASP* THAT MEANS HE'S THE REAL TAE YONG. Or so everyone thinks. I'm questioning that too because Tae Moo threw his phone in the water, so how could the phone reappear unharmed. But whatever. Tae Moo is FREAKING OUT!!! Since Lee Gak/Tae Yong doesn't remember the passcode to the phone, they try to take it to the service center, but Tae Moo steals it. Trick.

Meanwhile, Hong Se Na, the evil stepsister/wench is desperately trying to get rid of Park Ha so that she doesn't reveal Se Na's real identity. Se Na is trying to keep people from finding out that those two are related and that their mother works at a fish market instead of at a university in London. Really??? That's it? HELLO! If Se Na and Tae Moo end up married, don't you think he's gonna try to meet the mother in law? HELLO. But you know, this is a drama. Whatever

So our heroine Park Ha is heading off to America. There's nothing left for her to do in Korea since there's a better life in New York. She packs off all her stuff however Lee Gak wants to buy the rooftop room because that is the portal to the Joseon era. In order to get it from his grandmother, he must cut his hair. LOL. Of course, I knew that their hair is precious back in the day so I knew how adamant the Crew were about not being humiliated when they go back to their era. But, they must. HAHAHAHA. This episode was so funny, they are still adjusting to the modern era.

So, Lee Gak cuts his hair in order to stop Park Ha but it's too late. However, of course this is a Korean drama so after running after the bus she's on, he catches up to her...and they hug. The last 5 minutes was the CUTEST thing ever, I literally started crying. Oh my goodness, why am I single LOL. Anyways, this was a GREAT episode, I'm really starting to anticipate the following events because I have no where it will go. If this is a reincarnation, then Lee Gak really will have to return back to his era, leaving Park Ha behind. The real Tae Yong is dead so we think, so she would be left loving no one. OR, Lee Gak chooses to stay behind because he loves her, not the Crown Princess and his crew return. I don't know. We'll see!
