Running Man Episode 118 Review

I have waited so long for this. So long for Choi Min Soo's return...and he's back for the 3rd and final hunting. I am TOO EXCITED I HAVE WAITED A YEAR FOR THIS!!!!!

Hunter Strikes Back: The Final Hunting

It has the best opening ever. Min Soo is wearing a long black cape, and pulling up cards with the Running Man Members on it and it shows the trailer of the awesomeness to come and he rips Jae Suk's card in half and I got freaking goosebumps. OMG. I cannot contain my excitement. 

They start off with 'I Want To Be Like the Monday Couple' so they bring out Ji hyo and they realize how pretty she is, and then they bring out the actual guest Park Bo Young to promote her new movie 'Wolf Boy' with Song Joong Ki. So the men have to choose who they want to couple with and obviously that would be Bo Young LOL, but Bo Young is finding it hard to choose someone to be with. Hahaha

They go to this little snack store ran by Dongwan LOL and the women sit at 2 separate tables. The men have to choose who they want to sit with and everyone obviously doesn't want Ji Hyo but unfortunately, there are only 4 chairs. So Gary and Haha sit with Ji Hyo and Gwangsoo just won't sit down LOL.

Anyways, after they eat, they need to actually become a couple, so the girls stand on one side, and the guys have to race each other and pick up an umbrella. Whoever wins has to confess their feelings and stand over the woman they like holding up the umbrella, however, she can refuse him by throwing the umbrella down LOL.

 Bo Young at first chooses Gwangsoo much to everyone's surprise, but then she dumped him for Jong Kook LOL.

 No one was going after Ji Hyo so finally they did, and while this is all happening, Min Soo is hiding in some freaking bushes. Gosh he's just too scary, you NEVER know when he will appear. He comes out of nowhere and snatches Jaesuk's VJ Kwonryul AWAY!!! OH MY GOSH!! THAT IS SO FREAKING SCARY. Now I don't know to what extent Running Man is scripted, but if that wasn't scripted, Min Soo was freaking perfect. He snatched the VJ and they went off into the van together away. WOW.

 Anyways, Ji hyo ends up picking Gary over Jae Suk LOL. YAY MONDAY COUPLE HEART! They get back into their traveling bus and out of nowhere Min Soo hops in the driver's seat and DRIVES THEM TO THEIR NEXT LOCATION!! HOLY SHIT!! LOL. WOW.

They arrive at their destination and the girls are told to pick a sheet of paper that will tell them which tent they should hide in. The men have to go and find them. OH SNAP, I can't wait!! So they go out searching for them, and Jae Suk finally realizes that his VJ is recording him, but someone else. Oh.

The members find that some tents have a card that say, 'If you can't make a couple, go back to the base camp' which is what they do...however. As they are reading it, Choi Min Soo walks past everyone's tent and simply runs his hands across it. SUPER CREEPY!! As he's walking by Haha's tent, Haha gets up and out AND FACES MIN SOO *GASP* Min Soo immediately attacks him and pushes Haha back inside covering his mouth. We see that Min Soo is wearing a freaking black skeletal mask to hide his identity, and wearing all black head to toe OMG. He rips off Haha's name tag with no mercy, and drags him into this mini jail room, closes the door and and locks him inside. WOW. Wtf just happened LOL. And Min soo disappears...

The others return to the base and everyone shows up but Haha and Bo Young, so they assume those two became a couple. Ha. Wrong. They read a projector screen and it says that the new couples will go off and search for their own private missions. Suk Jin and Gwangsoo are a team, Jae Suk and Jong Kook are a team, and MONDAY COUPLE awww. Lol

So Gary and Ji hyo go off and they start to realize, what's the point in doing this. And they start getting suspicious and scared.

They begin to realize that there is no mission and they're scared. So they go to look for Gwangsoo and Suk Jin.

While Gwangsoo and Sukjin are looking for the mission card....Min Soo arrives...and we never get to see what happened to them...omo.

Everyone is searching for the others and all of a sudden, they find Gwangsoo...oh? But...Gwangsoo is weird. It's like he became a robot. All he says to them is 'Go to the Playground' over and over like a puppet...oh dear. So, reluctantly they run to the playground. Gwangsoo goes on top of  a hill sort of and we see that he's wearing an earpiece. He now has to relay everything Minsoo says to him and convey it to the members.

 And they freak out. Once Gwangsoo says, 'Hello Running Man members GRASSHOPPER, Ji hyo, Gary, and Jong Kook' AAAAAAAAAAAAAH SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT. They make the connection. Minsoo. Is here. And they freak the hell out. YESSSS. 

Minsoo tells them to play 'The Rose of Sharon Has Bloomed' which is our equivalent to 'Red Light, Green Light' except they do facing the other direction. Anyways. They play the game and once they get really close to Gwangsoo...Min soo arrives...behind them. AND THEYYYYYYY FREAK OUT because they can't lose the game and turn around LOL. This is too brilliant.

Minsoo makes his presence known to them, and they have to continue playing the game though. Jong Kook the lion simply becomes the kitten, Min Soo is the only man Jong Kook will NOT fight. HAHAHA IT'S AMAZING.

Minsoo plays around with them and almost rips off Gary's tag, oh my gosh he's so scary, but he doesn't. Wow. Instead he finally reveals his face. The horror LOL.

Anyways, the members finally reach Gwangsoo and they start running like their lives depended on it LOL. However, Min Soo asked Jong Kook to stop and he let the others go. Uh oh. Minsoo asks for a namja vs namja battle...and they fight. Real shadow boxing...wowwwwwwwww. It was so freaking cool, but of course Jong Kook lost LOL. I'm sure he really didn't want to fight him lol. So Jong Kook is out.

Then they reveal what happened to Gwangsoo because Gwangsoo did not follow the members when they started running. When Min soo showed up, he told Suk Jin and Gwangsoo to fight, so they did lol and Gwangsoo won. Therefore, Gwangsoo is now Min Soo's avatar while Suk Jin was sent to prison. Wow. Does anyone realize how dark that is? Yes Gwangsoo is the ultimate betrayer so I was expecting that and either he or Haha would've been the great avatar for him, but still. If someone had immense power over me, and perhaps told me to kill my brother, would I do it? And then I would have to become a traitor?? Like just think about it LOL, Min soo is twisted.

Then they showed how Min Soo planned EVERYTHING. HE PLANNED EVERYTHING. EVERYTHING. Like how memorized the woods, the camps, how he was gonna make his official appearance, EVERYTHING. Ugh, he's so awesome. And it's great that he's an amazing actor too, but he's so cute. Let's not forget that episode when he was at the water park lol and how much aegyo he showed.

So now, Min soo pays a visit to the jail members and reveals a big secret of his...he doesn't have a nametag. It is broken into pieces, if the members find the pieces of the tag and stick it on him, they will win. To make it fair. But really. Who will survive long enough to actually stick his name tag on him, THE PREDATOR. The only way that's possible, is if someone teams up on him, but remember, we have no clue what happened to Bo Young, so I'm sure she will play a vital role in his demise...which sucks because I honestly want to see him win again. He's done so much not to get acknowledged and lose lol.

So the jail members try to find a way to convey this message onto the Gary,  Ji hyo and Jae Suk and fail. They actually know that they need to stick the name tag on him, but they don't know that it's split in pieces...ah...well then. So Haha makes a paper airplane and tries to send it to them, but obviously that fails and falls right outside the door LOL. Haha gets it back and Min soo arrives and sees this LOLLLLLL. He makes Haha recite the contents of the plane and of course Haha just says how much he loves him. Bull shit, so Min soo threatens to come inside and Haha quickly tears it up and tries to eat it LOLLLLLL. That makes Min soo laugh and he walks away lol. Oh, scary.

So everyone is looking for the name tag and the special box. They start finding pieces of the name tag and realize that it's in pieces. Min soo attacks Gary and chases him to the jail LOL. Everyone in jail sees this and Gary is freaking out LOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL. But then, Min soo likes to play with his prey alot and lets him go. Remember, the first time he came, he likes to catch people, then let them go, so that they can be caught again. The HORROR lol. So everyone is searching and the find the name tags and the boxes. Gwangsoo is trying to figure out what he can do to help, but Min soo comes out of no where and literally POUNCES on Gwangsoo lmaooooooooooooooooooooooooo, the horror. Gwangsoo pleads for his life and wants to help Min soo so he can survive. Min soo lets him do so and takes Gwangsoo to the push up bar with the rope dangling and a box from earlier. Jae suk and Jong kook stumbled upon it before Minsoo's appearance and they were so afraid that people would be hanged LOL. Turns out, Min soo writes a sign for Gwangsoo to hang around his neck, makes him climb on the block and hang onto the bar, and attaches his name tag to the string *GASP* on my GOD. What a twisted individual lol, if Gwangsoo gives up and falls, his name tag will fall of and he will die LOL. WOW. This is just like in the movie 'I Saw the Devil' who HAVE to watch the ending of that movie, omg, Koreans man. So twisted lol. So yea, Gwangsoo is left screaming for help. The horror.

 Jae Suk finds a box and it says 'Go to the base camp and sit in front of the projector'.

Mean while, Ji hyo is out in the woods in the dark, looking for the box. She's so scared and honestly, I would be too. She finally finds the box, BUT MIN SOO POPS UP FROM HIDING ON THE GROUND AND SCARES THE LIVING CRAP OUT OF HER lol. Ji hyo lets out a horrible blood curling scream and then she is silenced. Jae suk is the only one at the base camp and he hears her scream and starts freaking out. Ji hyo lets out a real shock of terror like seriously lol, so Jae suk freaks out. Then he starts hearing Gwangsoo scream out for him.

Gary runs into Gwangsoo first and goes to save him,but then he reads Gwangsoo's sign LMAO it says 'I will bite whoever saves him' lol and kicks the block away from Gwangsoo and runs away LMAOOOOOOOOOOO omgeeeeeeeee. I would've done the same, I don't help traitors.

Jae suk comes up to help save Gwangsoo next and Gwangsoo is holding on for dear life, but he falls down anyways and of course his name tag is taken off.

So now it's just Jae suk and Gary. They go back to the base camp and watch the screen. Choi Min soo appears and he tell them the secret to killing him. They freak out and what not and once it ends CHOI MIN SOO POPS OUT AND BLASTS THROUGH THE FUCKING SCREEN TERRORIZING ME AND JAE SUK AND GARY  LMAOOOOOOOO OH MY GOD. WAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. LOL. He catches Gary, but Jae suk has to stop and play Rock Paper Scissors with Gary...guess that means the loser gets to die lol. And of course, Gary loses...and dies. LOL. So now the hunt is really on. Jae suk goes and finds all of Min soo's name tags and is prepared to stick it on him, when all of a sudden, Min soo comes out of no where and attacks Jae suk LOLLLLL. Some of the members come out of jail and want to see how it ends. The final battle...but of course Jae Suk fails at sticking it on him. So Min soo calls for the final challenge, in the fucking forest lol. Welp.

So Min soo is waiting in the forest...and Jae suk musters up the courage to go find him. He sees Min soo sitting on a rock facing the other direction, so Jae Suk tries to creep up on him and attach the name tag...but then he realizes that Min soo is too still.....WHICH MEANS HE ISN'T REAL. THE REAL MIN SOO IS BEHIND HIM AND GRABS HIM....and kills him LOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL. Wow. Freaking daebak.

So the person that posed as Min soo on the rock was actually Jae suk's VJ Kwonryul LOLLLLL. And then Min soo ties Jae suk to a tree LOLLLLLLLLLL. And that's it...he walks away. Wahhhh.

DaeBAK. Omg this was just incredible. I think if we had mixed the first appearance of Min soo, with this episode and the 2nd appearance, if would've been a freaking nightmare lol. If you haven't watched him in the previous episodes GO WATCH IT NOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW. Wow, Min soo is so twisted, what he did to the other members. And what happened to Bo Young? I guess she had another schedule because no one mentioned her again...lol ok. I thought maybe she would come out and help them get Min soo but I'm glad it didn't turn out that way. WAhhh, this is such a dark episode. I just love this. So freaking scary. I really want to know how much of this was scripted and how much wasn't because sometimes I really do see the pure horror in their eyes, like Ji hyo's scream...that was freaking real LOL. And the look on Jae Suk's face the minute Gwangsoo said 'Grasshopper' holy shit lol. Min soo is just so freaking awesome. He has aegyo, his so scary and he's an AMAZING actor. Go watch some of his stuff, like he's incredible. And this is the best Running Man episode ever because Min Soo planned EVERYTHING PERFECTLY. I loved the Sherlock Episode when Suk Jin planned everything because it was so freaking difficult, no one was gonna win, but he still failed at winning anyways. Min soo won, clearly. Even by making the other members search for his name tag to possibly get him out, it wouldn't work. Because he's freaking Choi Min soo.

I need another hunting episode. I LOVEDDDDDDDDD IT, GIVE IT TO ME.
