First Day of Spring Semester at UNT

It was hell. It's cold here and wind kept messing up my tracks and I had a headache all day. It just wasn't how I wanted to start the new year. For starters, I'm in a math class that I don't want to take but I am forced to unless I can prove to the university that I'm capable of being in Math 1580. The math I'm currently in is Math 1581, the problem is that it's four hours, meaning I'm taking 2 math classes but I'm only getting credit for 1. Compared to Math 1580, it's only 3 hours...and I don't have to go to class for 8am every other day. Soooooooo, I have to retake the Accuplacer and get a score of 63. Also, I have a horrible professor according to ratemyprofessor.com and the class average was a D/F, oh "h double hockey sticks no". So I need to get out. Fast forward to my American Literature class. That class will be the death of me. The professor's syllabus is the size of a book. Literally. Not kidding. In addition to the books that were required for the class, we have to purchase other books. Also our essays have to be EXACTLY how he wants it. He has a book on how to write persuasive essays that of course, we have to read. We've got 2 essays, a midterm, and a final...all essays. The midterm and final will consist of 3 essay questions, FUN, while the two critical papers have to be at least 10 pages long. AT LEAST 10 pages....and the first paper is due February 7. Oh great. This is gonna be a GREAT semester, I can already tell. So, after that class, I immediately went to my World Literature class( part 2) and hoped it would be great and less difficult. Well, I have a sadistic teacher. Oh boy. And we have a quiz on Thursday. And I have to read all the material in like 2 days. I am honestly starting to regret taking to two different english classes at the same time this semester.
